National cash register. Bronze case, £sd, mechanism working including the all-important bell. This is quite an early one, highly decorative with a bronze shelf above the coin drawer rather than the more usual and plainer marble. A few minor faults: one counter gets stuck, "n/s" tab is worn/replaced, the drawer grinds a bit, glass does not fit perfectly. Some old coins in drawer.
